What I hate with medicines

I really hate taking medicines thus I am very careful of my self for not to be sicked. I am more considering other supplements for preventive measures. I really afraid taking medicines especially with high side effects in our system, for it doesn't help if they're like that...more adverse event to be encountered...I hate that. Am I that stupid enough because Im hating medicines? My mother scolded me once and forcing me to do so,..really am afraid for it doesn't help..
