FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT Ignored What Do You Think

OH yes...They signed and dated it on August 9th 2007. It was addressed to the Executive Director and the Board of the Directors. Also becuase of hte issues that are going on right now with this organization. The Local newspaper is also investigating and doing an article. They Did a FOI request. They got a letter sent that they could not turn anything over until they discussed it at the next board meeting. I was kicked off the board, for asking questions... So I know that the next board meeting was SEpt 20th. The news reporter still has not received her information either. She has made two phone calls thursday and Friday and did not get them returned. She igoing to try one more time Monday, then turn them over to the press commissioner. She did her FOI request a week after I did. So if they respond tohers first they will be in violation again because it is first in, first out.

In that case then I would say they are ignoring the request. I guess you now have to decide what you are going to do about it.

The local newspaper also requested FOI Act request. It got ignored too...So they are now filling a suit against the non-profit...Articles are going out about the ignorance of the FOI's soon and I'll be a witness to the fact that they also ignored my FOI. Ouch...When are people going to learn...You Can't do wrong and expect right to come to you? Exposing ignorance of those that think they are untouchable isn't always the simplest thing to do, but once it's done, What a GREAT Feeling it is, knowing your making a bright future for someone else! Abuse is Abuse and you can only get away with it for so long...Eventually someone will get enough of it and expose you, so it's not a very good idea to abuse others, one day they may just get teh power to fight back!
