Family life or higher income?

I also wonder as to how people can do this and simly leave their families, happiness, homes , realtions and go to a new differetn country. For me it can never be, anything but to remain with my family and we may have less, we may not be rich, we may not be that well off, but for me, it can never be to make money and to become rich, that i go to another unknown country, leaving everything behind me, never. I can understand why maybe people feel that there are greener pastures outside and want to give things a try too, but they dont realise that things are not always green as they look too and there are dangers and problems there too, beside the family life and the happiness you miss out too. You will be missing out on your family life, seeing your kids grow up, all just for money? Does that hold so much of importance in your life? Or then you take your family with you, but that doesnt work either. I think each person has their won choices and prefernces and nothing can be said about what another person may feel too.

I would stay with my family and just make do with anything I can earn. I wouldn't want my hubby to do that, either. In Indonesia, lots of village women (married women) go abroad as maids to get more money in other countries' currency. Some of them get beaten up or molested or abused by their masters or masters' wives. This is really sad.
