The long wait is now finally over. Philippines paypal account user can now send/receive money. Just sign up on paypal.com it is free. And when the form asks for a credit card account number, you can use your local banks debit card (if you don't have a credit card). Like Union Bank's EON card. Signing up for both account is free. on Union Bank, there is a payment of P365.00 when you will get the card, thats for the card processing, and an annual payment of the same amount for the maintenance of your account. No minimum balance needed. No interest. can be used as a ATM/DEBIT card. can be used in paypal for sending /recieving money. on Paypal, free signup, no payments needed when adding a card account. only needs to pay when withdrawing from your account. 5$, and a minimum of 10$ for withdrawal. Thanks,

Thank you for sharing. This is great news to all of us. I have been waiting for this time to come. My problem now is, I can't add my EON card. It says the card is blocked or denied by my bank. Do you have any idea (as an EON user too) why this is happening? Please help me.

have you tried logging into your EON account if you still can log in? If not, try to contact unionbank for this. If you still can log in, might be that you entered the incorrect numbers, use the number on the back of the card, starting with 4404, the card number is 12-digits, then the last 4-digits after the 12th digit is the cvv code. Pls try those, Thanks

I called EON hotline last night. I have to deposit first at least 100 pesos. And so today, I did deposit and then I was able to add it to PayPal but I still need the 4-digit expanded use number. But I still have to wait for the account statement since the number will be found there. Do I have to wait that long or can I just call their reps again to get my expanded use number? Thank you for your help!

It's really good news although the charge of $5 is somewhat high because it's very difficult to earn $10 here in mylot and then $5 will be used to pay the fees if we use PayPal. Anyway, at least we have another alternative. Thanks for the information.

yes, thats true, earning 10$ here is hard, but there are other ways of earning $ here in the internet that uses paypal as their payout system :)

i have just received some forms of payment from my online programs to paypal but my account is still unverified. but with your info i think i can withdraw it by using an atm card like EON. with this progress, i plan to recall all my paying sites that use paypal as their payment processor. i hope this must be good to be true all the time. just want to be clarified with your last statement 'only needs to pay when withdrawing from your acount, 5$, and a minimum of $10 for withdrawal'. i didn't get it. thanks.

It is like this, the minimum amount that you can withdraw from paypal is 10$, so you can't withdraw unless you have 10$ or more in your paypal account. And for every withdrawal, you will pay 5$ for it, so if will withdraw 10$ - 5$ = 5$ you will only get 5$.

Be careful using PayPal. Someone hacked into my account and they punished ME for it. They are still holding close to $600 of mine for 180 days!

PayPal RUINED me! I was in the hospital having surgery when someone hacked into my PayPal account and attempted to change my banking information (can only figure that they intended to transfer my $ into this other bank account). Anyways, PayPal caught on to it and froze the account, which was good, so I thought. After returning home I checked on my eBay listings and found that I had sold 3 of my 100 items. I went to my dropship connection to place the order for the items sold and found out about the frozen PayPal account when I went to pay for the items. I contacted PayPal to see what I would need to do in order to un-freeze my account. They asked me if I could verify that I was the one that had attempted to change the banking information and of course I said no, that it was not I that had done that. They informed me that the account would have to remain frozen for 180 days. The bad part is, my eBay customers had paid me through PayPal! I ended up having to refund these peoples money to them out of my own pocket because PayPal refuses to release the funds. Oh, and this in turn caused my eBay account to be suspended until the matter with PayPal is resolved!

Will an ATM card work? Will it work only in debit/credit cards? I have an ATM in BDO. If not, can I use the money myLot will pay me without withdrawing it by purchasing online? Thank you and sorry for too many questions... ^__^

i'm quite new to paypal, and i'm wondering if a personal account (instead of a premier or business account) in paypal is alright when it comes to receiving earnings from myLot. also: i haven't verified my paypal. i don't want to tie in my bank account to paypal just yet. if i have earnings from, say, myLot, and they are transferred to my paypal, can i use these earnings to purchase something online? or will i still need to enter my credit card/ debit card number (do i need to be "verified" to purchase)? lastly: it says in the payment page of myLot that some countries are not qualified to receive paypal payments. is the philippines one of them may i also digress for a second... when we choose non-US citizen in the payment page of myLot, there is this text written in red which tells you to declare under penalties of perjury that you are indeed not a US citizen. i wonder why that is important... hehe. i know you're probably not a myLot employee, but i'm looking to getting advice from myLotters who know better than a newbie like me. thanks much! and yes, good thing paypal is now in the philippines. :)
