Making space!

I have this 'thing' where I feel a sense of achievement when I finish a box or container of something, and I can then throw it away. When there is a large box of Kelloggs with just a small amount of cereal in the bottom, I take out the inner packet and I can't wait to throw the empty box away, because it means I have gained some space in my cupboard. Even though I have to replace the box with a new one, I still get a bit of pleasure being able to throw away that large box. I just did it with the vinegar. I had a bottle in the cupboard with about 2" in the bottom so I poured it into my vinegar jar and that then got rid of the half empty bottle in the cupboard. I knoe it sounds odd but I have a friend at works who does excatly the same as me. Odd aren't we or does anyone else out there get a buzz out of this?

When I have some cereal left, I make these cereal cookies. Do not tell me what is in them. It depends on what cereal there is. I usually put my dried products into empty large peanut butter jars because I do not like all those boxes in my cupboard either.
It makes quite a lot of sense and it is usually better to keep something that is mostly full then something that is almost empty.

Exactly, I can't bear having all those mostly empty large cerals boxes taking up valuable space in my kitchen cupboards. I can't keep shoe boxes either, I think they take up too much space in my wardrobe. First thing I do is chuck the shoe box away.
