Breastfeeding Moms

Today is Sunday September 30, 2007. This might be a good time for me to discuss this subject, since this last week, recognized in many countries of the world, has been breastfeeding week. Moms and their babies gathered together to breastfeed openly and to promote breastfeeding in public. It was reviewed on CTV News in Toronto, Canada that Moms were tired of having to breasfeed in bathroom stalls, so as not to annoy the public. I consider breastfeeding essential for babies and women should not have to hide in bathroom stalls to do so. Mom's milk improves her babies immune system. It improves their chances for a healthier start in life in more ways than only physical health. It may also make a difference in the emotional and spiritual bond that can potentially develop between mother and child.
