One of the most controversial issue on Texas these days is the ongoing hearing/discussion of the Supreme Court whether to abolish lethal injection or NOT. Some organizations and people say that punishment thru lethal injection is inhuman.
Granting that it will be abolished, a lot of prisoners who are in the death row will now be safe and will only serve for years behind bar. And remember, most of those people are the ones who committed heinous crimes like rape, murder and the like.
If there will be a survey conducted as to who wants to vote for the abolishment of the lethal injection. WILL YOUR ANSWER BE, YES or NO? Why NOT and why YES?

Well, years ago I would have said I think it should be abolished. But I was just a naive 15-16 year old lol. Now my opinion has changed big time!
For a government class in my Senior year we learned about some of the people on detah row, and what they did. And now I def. think that lethal injection should remain.
I learned about this guy who started his 1 (or 2) year old baby on fire in the desert, and watched her walk around while she was on fire! I think they said it took a minute before she fell. That story upset me so much in class and I almost cried!
After hearing stuff like that, I think lethal injection should NEVER be abolished.

Oh, my God! I can't imagine what was in the mind of that guy when he sets the baby on fire. He is one of those people who deserves to be executed in lethal injection without further hearing. Darn!
As for me, I am really INFAVOR of the lethal injection even when I was still in the Philippines. We have that too there as our capital punishment.

Yeah. I can't believe people can do stuff like that! I don't remember what explanation he gave, but I don't think it would make a difference anyways!

Leathal injection is more humane than the electric chair but in my opinion is TOO humane for those who commit crimes against children!

I am sorry but I think we are far to lenient with the criminals of today. they do not fear the law it is a joke to say the least. they have no respect for an old dog who has absolutely no bite at all.
I am sick and tired of the criminal getting free legal assistance after doing terrible damage to his fellow human, when is it fair that they are molly coddled and the victims have to spend their rest of their life suffering from the actions of a criminal. no I am all for throwing the criminals in jail and throw away the key as well as all amenities that are not essential to life, food that any welfare recipient would eat, clothing that they must maintain themselves, no TV, radio, movies, nothing but to sit in a cell and think about what they have done, in human treatment some yell, no justice I say.

im not in favor. those murderers and rapists do not deserve to live! especially those who hurt children. they do not deserve even just a day to live. to be imprisoned for life is not enough to pay for their sins. i actually think inmates are really not being punished severely in prisons. while in fact, they should be. giving them a life sentence is like giving them a second chance which they dont deserve.
if lethal injection is abolished, the punishment for these criminals should be severe, like they would really pay for their crimes. it should hurt terribly like how they hurt their victims. like, tie them in a tree with lots of red ants or anything that bites severely, and that should be for a long period of time until they will feel they dont deserve to live. i may think cruelly but they are far more worse than cruel.
