yes, i respect my teachers, although some of them don't like me at all. i'm a naughty girl, so i often chat with my classmates in the class, but when the teacher let me do some subjects, then i can do it in few minutes, so they can't punish me. but they will say i'm a bad girl, because i affect others. For me, they are not good teachers, but for the others, they are really responsible teachers. so i respect them all the way.

All the persons I meet start with the same amount of respect according to their physical appearance. It would either go down when I see that they are bad, or would go up if they really deserve my respect. For me, teachers must really receive an immense respect from their students, just as how they respect their parents. For me, I can't learn anything from a person that I do not respect. Here in the Philippines, teachers are underpaid and overworked, but still they always smile and do their best, that's why I really respect them. They always tell me that teaching is not a job but a vocation.

I respect my teachers... I've learned a lot from them from books and philosophy in life. They shared a big part in molding me as a person. I believe that they desrve all the respect taht I give. Until now, I have communication with some of teachers... those teachers that really influence what I am today.

I respect most of my teacher, but not everyone. I agree we ought to respect those who learnt us knowledge. I really miss and thanksgiving most of them who taught me knowledge, though I seldom contact with them after graduating.
But I have to say some of them are so lack of professional ethics. They just pay attention on money - that's so pants.
I don't think we should give our respection to those who are lack of ethics.

Yeah, i respect them. You can really see their effort whenever the class gets rowdy.

...All people deserve your respect, unless they have done something to earn your disrespect. Teaching is a service oriented position. Most people do not go into teaching if they are not people and service oriented. It takes a lot of dedication to be a teacher, they put in hours they will never get paid for.
...However, when I was in college, I had a professor who, in my humble opinion, should not have been a teacher. He would never stop to explain anything and even said in class one day, "Let's see if I can make this more complicated." He got such bad reviews, he wasn't teaching the nest semester.
...Teachers are not just paid staff at some school. I have learned many things from my children. Life through their eyes is truly amazing, fresh and uncomplicated.
...Excellent question! Peace be with you. =(^;^)= Della

my mother is a teacher. and i truelly respect teachers even if my mother is not a teacher. there job is not that easy. working with 20plus students they do not know and molding them is not easy. their salary is also very low and they donot have enough benefits that is why teachers here in the philippines have lots of credits or debts.
