When I was younger, my friends are within my age range, but when I started going to work I made friends from all walks of life and different age range.
I'm 38 years old and my friends age are 48, 54, 30, 35.
How about you. Please do share your thoughts.

when I was in in my teens my friedns were from 10 - 25, then at high school my friends were from 16 - 30. Now I am 27 and my friends start from new born babies to 100. Because I am a mother, wife and daughter and grand daughter I hang around people of all ages. I can sit and talk to a 2 year old and have a great time as mush as I would with someone my age or someone my grandmothers age.

Somewhat...but definately more so than when I was younger....When I was in my teens from 13 to about 17-18 most of my friends ranged in age from 21-22 up to in their 40s...During my 20s my friends were in their 20s and 30s and now that I'm in my 30s I have friends who range in age from mid 20s to their 50s LOL

I'm a friendly person so will befriend anyone regardless of age or anything else. I'm 39 - my best friend is my age (have been best friends since school), I have a friend who is 18 (she thinks of me as a second mum), and friends in their 20's, 30's, 40's, male & female.

I have friends ranging from their twenties way into their seventies. Of course, being in my sixties, and a lot of people my age dying younger because of the rotten food and lack of exercise, there is not that much to choose from.
I really hate limiting friendship, especially when you are like me and do not like to be told to act your age, meaning, "act more dignified," I look younger and do not want to act like an old fuddy duddy, so the more younger people I have as friends the better.

Very few of my friends are of my same generation. In fact, most of them are considerably older than I am... most are either in the younger half of the "Baby Boomer" generation or in the generation after... and some are even older than that! I always found people my age were going through things in life that I always discarded like boyfriends, marriage, children, and "keeping up" with the pop culture, and I could never relate to them. Also I find people are a lot more tolerant of people different than themselves as they get older, so maybe that's what ultimately led me to having "older" friends. I do have a few who are younger or within a few years of my age, but not many.

My friends all range from younger to older. I have two friends who are younger than I am, they are in their late 20's and I am 35, I also have a friend who is 23. I also have friends who are in their 50's and 40's. I just like people for who they are, their ages don't mean much to me really. If I get along with them and we can talk easily that is all that matters to me.

It seem that they're within my age range, some as old as me (I'm 22), but I have much older friends. I enjoy talking to people who have a lot to say.
I have friends who are in their late 20's. I'm not so sure about 30's...but I think if we have a lot in common, it really doesn't matter.:)

Hello Neriz,
Yup, my friends mostly are at my range of age. Though I have also some friends who are a lot younger than me and some are older than me. But our age gap doesn't really affect our relationship as friends. We can get along well and we have lot of things in common and we have a lot of things that enjoyed doing together.

Most of friends are older than my age and I like it that way since I learn a lot from them being way mature than I am and that makes me a little mature than those with my same age. Don't get me wrong but that's what I feel and that's where I learn too. Though I also have friends with the same age and we are like sisters not simple friends we share anything and everything under the sun. They are also matured compared to other as we all used to hang out with our seniors

hello, neriz. As i am 23 now, nearly all my friends are within my age range. I make different friends at different stages, my primary school, my middle school, my university, and my graduate stage, I know new persons and make new friends. They are like pearls to me. To tell the truth, as the time go, some of them become faint. But they are still valuable pearls. And it is certainly that there must be one or two most pearls I like best and I will take them with me wherever i am be and wipe them to keep shining!
When i am older, maybe i will make friends with younger persons, I don't know! haha~~Perhaps i have already inherit this from my father, as he is fond of young people and can go on very well with them.

I have always had a wide range of friends included a wide age frame. I have never felt I should restrict myself to just my age group cause you just never know what you might learn from other age groups. The younger ones kind of keep you feeling young and the older age groups have so much knowledge that can be very useful when you need help.

My close friends are within my age range. However, my blogging friends' ages range from 23 to 50 (I'm 28) and I've learnt A LOT from each of them. ;-D
