In both the cases (road n train ) when the routes are specific i meant u starting from home n u wanna reach sum place out of the town which supposedly say has desired path thn i find it very boring sticking to the seats while trvelling by road as u cant frequently move in the buss, or car, while travellign by train i feel tht i can move in the train from one palce to other i can evn satnd if i wish n i dnt feel liek trapped in a cage ....
thnks

My preference is road trips..and traveling in a footloose and fancy free way. When we travel by car we can go all over North America without worrying about out luggage being lost..planes trains or boats being delayed because of weather or some other problem.
We can stop when we're tired...stay in one place as long or as short as we please and not have to worry about meeting someone else's time lines. Also the long waits and security checks at airports are making travel less enjoyable. My second choice would be to travel by train..or even bus. Finally air travel...and lastly ship.
I like to be free...and the idea of being held up on a large boat with thousands of other people who often get sick on these events...nope..not my idea of a fun travel experience.

I love to travel but paradoxically I am not a good traveller;Bus travel does not suit me.
However I love to travel by train and I wish to share my experience of an amazing train journey I had. I am in I ndia and I am talking about my trip on the Konkan Railway. It is a trip never to be forgotten. Thiugh i normally get up late in the morning I got up before dawn and I sat drinking in the scenery that rolled by. Full of greenery and backwaters on one side with huge boulders enmeshed on either side of tunnels, it never ceased to interest me. I would love to travel by this Konkan railway once again if only I get an opportunity. The longer the travel the better it would be.
My son had the opportunity of traversing the same route soon after monsoon and took pictures of waterfalls every now and then. They were like foamy milk in a backdrop of dark green. Amazing scenery and words fail me. If only I were a poet I would have sung verse after verse in praise of such natural splendour but I have no such talent and I simply relive that wonderful journey in my mind.

I like travelling a lot in all aspects road, rail, air, water, because I beleive in the truth that journeys are always better than the destination and it is the journey that gives a lot experience and people learn from experiences. Thus travel whatever may be the mode is enjoyable.

oh thts a new thought i have heard...cool way to think..well bt i find travelling to be monotonous.as i can be sitting at one place for hour together while travelling by roadon has to do tht.im cool with train travellings as one can move in the train..air travelling for 2-3 hrs is ok.cant stand nethng beyond tht ....n evn i feel restless while travelling by ship.

I love to travel by train. During the day I like to sit in a seat and watch out of the window at all of the lovely scenery. At night time I like to sleep in a comfortable bed in a sleeping compartment. I find travel by train relaxing because I can wander around a bit. I don't like traveling by plane but often do so because it is a fast way of reaching far off destinations. Even on a short journey it can be cheaper to fly than take the train. If there is not a train I travel by bus but don't find this as enjoyable. I do travel by ship sometimes but only when necessary. I can get sea sick on rough voyages. Happy traveling.

hey sang2k2,I enjoy all kinds of travelling;road, air or by cruise ship. Not much of a train traveller though.lol.It makes me sick & whoosyyy.I've been on a train for seven hours and I don't think you'd like to sit with me if you travelled on train.
