name brand or generic

I ususally shop for something special based on what I like and not on the hype that has been created by advertising. If I like something I buy it. Although there have been times when I found something name brand that was very expensive and I loved it so much I bought it. Do you usually base your purchases on what brand it is or do you shop based on what you like no matter the the name is?

I like wearing a brand but I like wearing a cheap clothes but not old to date so if I found a clothe with a famous brand but its cheap too I have to get no matter whereever it is

I like to look my best and to eat and keep a clean house as well as a clean body with the best there is and well generics just don't work in accomplishing this.

I really don't care what the name is. Usually the name brands are more expensive, and aren't really much better quality. This isn't true with everything, but in most cases. I will just buy clothes and stuff that I like, no matter what name brand they are.

Sometimes they are higher maintenance too...the materials etc. I like sticking with what I like and don't depend on name brands.

it doesnt really matter for me.. i go for something not because it is branded or generic but because i like that item =D sometimes, if the item is too expensive then sorry for me.. no enough budget =(
