Another tough week, but there is hope!!!

Well, it's hard to say it out loud, but Notre Dame lost again. But the Irish showed some signs of life. They actually outgained Purdue in total yards 426 to 371. Looks like rushing could still use some work, but passing and receptions improved . The offensive line seems to be doing a better job than previous games. All in all, a vast improvement from a few weeks ago. Things are starting to come together. We are strong and we are proud. Go Irish!

My biggest worry is that our long winning streak against Navy will be snapped this year. What do you think? Will the embarassment get worse with a loss to Navy? Sharpley looked pretty darn good at QB in the 2nd half of that game, by the way.

I'd say go w/ Sharpley. Claussen has all the potential in the world, but he just doesn't look like he belongs out there yet. He's close, but not close enough.

I believe that Notre Dame is improving each week. They had a good game against Purdue. They scored a few touchdowns and they seemed better than last week. I think that the fans are just going to have to be patient with the team and hope for a good season next year. Go Irish
