What's relationship between you and your pre-wife(husband)

It make me puzzled ,how do you take the relationship with your departed wife?
I divorced three years ago.The reason is complex,I can't say it clearly.
Although divorced ,but I think we can be friend,we have many same interests and same topics.But the friendship was disturbed after we begining new loving,why so that.I don't know ,could you give me some opinion to make me clear out.
