What's the most expensive item you ever bought on Neopets?

A couple of months ago, I bought a Draik Trans potion for 2.5 million and a Tyrannian PB for 300k. I didn't make a profit off of either, because I used them both on a pet that I wanted to change. Other than spending np's on my pets, I really don't buy anything else, so I'm glad that I changed my pet into something that I really like now.

I'm not sure, probably either neohome and garden items, or rare (usually turns out to be not rare enough darn it!) foods. I've never bought anything that pricey though. I do wish that there was an easier way to tell if a food will count towards the gourmet club before you buy it. I often end up with rare/uncommon foods that are just below the point range that counts towards the club, and they never seem to sell for as much as I paid for them.

The most expensive thing that I ever bought on Neopets was with my original Neopets account. I had saved up forever to get an Ona and I bought it for 99,999 NP. I only had it for about 2 months before my account got hacked into and shut down. I haven't bought anything expensive under my new account because I know I would be really sad if that happened to me again.

I can't really think of any item that I've paid an expensive amount of neopoints on. I used to just collect everything in my safe. I have pages of retired items I never sold just sitting in there now. I still have map pieces (gasp!!) lol!

The most I paid for a single item was a Wand of Reality back when they were around 4 million NP. I had previously sold one for 5 million and thought I would buy this one for a quick 1 mil turnaround. I ended up keeping it though and used it for the battledome. They were one of the best items back then but I doubt they still are, they are probably worth a lot less now.

It's been a very long time since I've been on neopets. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the Faerie Queen Doll because I wanted to get the avatar. I don't remember how much it cost. It was definitely up there in the millions. Oh man! I just remembered I bought it in the trading post and I went to resell it but I stupidly let myself get scammed out of it. I can't remember the exact details of what happened, but I think what happened was I ended up getting about half of the neopoints because the person lied and said they were going to trade another valuable item, but in the end, they didn't. I was more upset about the principle of the matter though. I had a lot of neopoints so it wasn't like I missed it. I was just more upset that that person got away with it. I kind of miss going on neopets, but I'd rather spend my time on these sites where I can earn real money instead of just neopoints. Especially now that they've got additional items that you can only get if you spend actual real-life money!

I think the most I ever paid for an item was the Fairy Queen Doll from the Hidden Tower. I used it to get the avatar then lent it to a friend that subsequently "lost" it. It was a tough lesson to learn but thankfully I was able to rebound from it and learn my lesson about lending things out.
