Do you prefer receiving gifts or giving them?

Most of the time I receive things that I don't find useful or particularly like. So with this consideration, I prefer giving gifts better because it makes me happy to see smiley face and it makes me glad when they actually use the stuff and like them. The happiness is not something I could describe.

I am not that materialistic, I prefer to give than receive. I don't expect anything for my friends or family, but I am thankful to whatever they would also give to me. I don't care of how it costs, as long as they are sincere. Also, I do my best to return some of the favors they've done to me by giving gifts. People should always be grateful of what they receive, because one'll never when's the time that they will LOSE EVERYTHING..

I prefer giving but I wouldnot mind recieving. Both are good. Thats why people say this world is a place of give and take..

Can I say both? I give gifts and also would want to receive em. But most of the time, I give gifts to my friends and my family.. Not just gifts or presents , not material things .. but also do them some favors or do something nice. I wouldn't expect them to do me the same thing as giving gifts or doing favors.. but if ever they will, then it will definitely be great. :)

I enjoy both as long as I give sincerely and as long as they give sincerely. It's the thought that counts, not what I give or what they give. :-D I think right now I like them both 50-50 he he he he he... My blogger friend once said that people also should learn to receive gifts or compliments well, 'coz not everybody can do that well, so I'm heeding her advice, too. ;-D

I like getting gifts, no doubt. But my heart just feels amazing when I give a gift. I love putting joy on people's faces, or providing them with something they wanted, but couldn't get. It's the best feeling in the world.

I love both because the feeling is different. When I receive a nice gift, I would feel very excited about it and would guess what it is and say thanks to the person who gave it to me. If I give a nice gift to someone, I am making him happy as well and I think that he will have the same feeling as I do. I love to receive as well as to give a nice gift.

Yes I do prefer receiving Gifts, it makes me happy and feel love, when ever some one gives me a gift.

Ilike receiving gifts for I feel happy because it means someone remembers and cares about me.. it's really a nice feeling that someone (whatever the gift is... )values you... and I see to it that I return the favor...

I feel the same way, like to receive gifts, but giving them it make feel so good, to see the person who I am giving my gift happy it makes my day...
