How easy is it for the government to take a kid from parents in your countries?

I am 20 years old. And will lose my son (1 year) here in Sweden, because I didnt have enough structure in life.
They are telling me that i must work on myself, to be a strong person so they are still willing to give me a second chance after some years when i fullfilled the plan they will make for me under this period.
But how easy is it in your different countries for the government to take the children?
I have heard that the require much more in other countries, like drugs or violence?
Is the sittuation different in Europe or is it the same?
And how is it in America, and all other countries?
Please write me, this is a very intressting question for me personally. I am writing this first discussion with no thought of earning money.
This question is because its the only forum I knew emediatly to write to which has so many different people from different countries, and because I was writing in MyLot for 8 months ago.

In America it is easy to lose your children for atime if you are involved in harmful behavior. If the children are in in danger or if you expose them to danger. There also are steps to remove them from an unsafe home or a home without everyday needs. Oce your child is in the system it is difficult to regain custody. The court sets out the guidelines you must follow and the timeframe. If you do not complete the steps you take the shot of having your parental rights removed and your children put up for adoption.

In America the goverment can take your child away if there is proof that you are neglecting your child or not providing the necessary things that a child need to grow and thrive. If a parent gets there children taken away they are normally put in a foster home while the parents or parent gets there life back on track. They must complete certain things before they can go in front of a judge to see if they can have there kids back. My wife and I were foster parents and have seen this first hand. We have adopted 3 kids out of the foster care system.

It reals makes me wonder how can that our happen in our nation INDIA there has never been such a case anyway i hope you will soon be able to get back your son and mind your are just 20 years old , i doubt if you are matured enough to be a father anyway dont worry friend you will get back your son

i can only give an opinion regarding our the system in our country which is the philippines, it is only when an abuse is done to the child that our govt. can interfere , the child will be taken out to the parents custody and their child will be put to some agency which caters that kind of situation..and the later will be sued for the abused done to the child

My country is Philippines. Honestly our government is not that active in such situations. There are so many street children and despite of its huge number our government cannot take them all to orphanage. And many families in our country have children. More than 10 for some families and the work of the parents is just ordinary, like maid and bus driver which is very little for survival.
Well, I think your country is very strict and is very concern for the welfare of its citizens. I understand your emotion of the fact that they are getting your child from you. But please, work for your child so that you will not be separated. I think your government will provide work for people who have no jobs. Unlike in our country there are so many jobless even if they have graduated college and have degrees.

Well,acatually,it's hard for the government to take a kid from their parents in China,there's too many people here ,the government even don't wanna take care of those things,maybe for one reason,there're too many neighbour to sue that the parents is rude to thire child.....

In Bangladesh Govt. never take responsibilities of a child. If any thing happned with parents like divorce then the court ask to the father to give money to care of his child and the child will be keeped in coustody of mother till 18 years. If any parents disabled then socially take dicision to who will take care of the child but no role of the Govt in most case.
