Are you superstitious?

I believe that life is what you make it. When you see people who are successful, the didn't get that way through luck. They got that way through planning and hard work. Although bad things happen from time to time that is not luck, that is merely reality. I don't believe in curses either.

I had a really bad run of bad luck, lasted 2 years and in that time i split with my kids dad, lost my house, my kids and i became homeless, Was also attacked and had my nose broken, it was all a nightmare! This is where the superstition kicks in, during that time i was forever seeing magpies, always just the one (one for sorrow)A friend of mine told me that when you see a single magpie your ment to greet it to avoid bad luck-i always do now lol Things although not plain sailing have been much better and the future is definitly looking brighter.

I don't really believe in good/bad luck. Things are just what they are it's not because there was good luck involved or bad luck involved in something. I also don't think you can curse a person and make something happen to them. I don't really think that's how life works.

no i'm not but since i moved to Louisiana I have seen so strange stuff I was always told that that is the devils work and i guess it has stuck with me

I am not superstitous at all, in fact my lucky number is 13 and I was born on the 13th. I wouldn't say I believe in bad or good luck, I think life is what you make it. Life does sometimes throw us for a loop, and sometimes bad or good things can happen for no reason. No, I am not a superstitious person. I don't believe in curses, hexes, or anything like that. I believe that we have free will, and we decide our own fate in the end.

I'm not superstitious. I do believe in coincidences though, and many can be creepy, almost like a curse or a streak of bad luck.

I take the "little bit of everything" approach. To a degree, life is what you make of it. If you wake up in a bad mood, then most likely you are going to have a bad day, that kind of thing. Some people just have rotten luck no matter what. I am a classic example, I love my life, am I happ go lucky person, but it seems like $hit happens a lot that I have no control over. It never hurts to knock on wood, walking under ladders is just plain dangerous, and try not to break mirrors cause above all else broken glass can hurt you! Yeah, I don't take superstitions too seriously, but I do go for some of them, especially knock on wood, I don't know why, but I always do this when I say it!
