Do you believe in "real" haunted houses?

I've actually lived in many, plus I've worked at jobs that had them. I saw them all the time. They're not what I would consider as "Haunted", just houses that had spirits in them. Where I'm at now, there is an older woman who comes around. Of course, I mostly see her in the evening and she's always around my kitchen table. Well, it just dawned on me the other day, the kitchen table I bought is from the 1940's, and they say some spirits attach themselves to items they use to treasure. Guess I have one of those, lol! None have ever really caused any harm in the least, a little uncomforable sometimes, but no harm. You get use to it after a while.

Hi Catiesblogg, and no, I haven't personally but friends and a family member of mine has. he purchased a very old house in France several years ago, and there were those strange noices and stuff falling most of the time for no reason. He checked with different people living next by and was told that this house was the home of people who were killed during the last French Revolution, and most probably the reason for the stuff falling was that they haven't found peace and were dwelling around. My friend wasn't happy with it and re-sold the house within 5 months. he didn't want to go and search for people who would be able to clean the house of these presence. And to tell you the truth I am not sure what i would have done in his place. If the house was something special and a place that i would consider living in I would have seen to get the ghosts in peace, and leave the place, but well, he did not. TheFortunes
