She lost custody of both kids. I feel so bad for her

It was sad to hear that Britney lost custody of both her kids and now she has to try and get partial custody if she can follow the judges rules and go for the random drug tests and whatever other conditions they placed on her (that she ignored). My husband and I were talking about it and I think she doesn't actually see her kids all that much anyway. I think she has nannies and others that take care of the kids and from what I've heard, her life is one long schedule of events. Whether she got custody or not, Kevin Federline was going to get some kind of financial win fall from this, so I think he might as well take the money and raise the kids with it. He's looking like the good guy in all of this. Meanwhile has anyone asked Shar Jackson and his two other kids if he's the great guy he's trying to pretend to be?

I don't know how to say. It's not like she didn't see this coming, especially at the previous hearing when the judge absolutely told her to stop drinking and what was the very next thing she did? She went out partying to a very famous place where she knew there were going to be a lot of photographers. The least she could have done was to stay home... And this is only an example. There are also a lot of pictures with her smoking near the kids, her bodyguards say she never watches her language with them and so on. I think she has a lot of growing up to do before being apt to raise a kid. Now about Federline... I totally agree with you. I was wondering myself now and then if he's such a good father how come he ignores his other two kids. What can I say, only time will tell. Whatever his hidden thoughts might be, truth is Federline treated the kids a whole lot better (or at least so it seems to us on the outside).

My honest opinion about Kfed is that he's fighting hard to have custody and the child support / alimony he's going to get. He's not doing this out of the goodness of his heart or else he would be taking care of the other kids as well.

You hit the nail on the head there about Kfed.....he failed as a wanna be rappper and this was an easy ticket for him. Im quite sure he will have the least bit possible to do with raising his kids. Hes in this for himself, and making out pretty good considering that you dont see him plastered all over the news drunk off his a** and high on God only knows what or being photographed coming out of a rehab facility. I feel badly she didnt do more to protect herself and her kids. Its a shame, but she did this to herself. Shes lacking common sense. Bay xx

That's what puzzles me about celebrities - how is it they DON'T protect themselves better? I'm thinking there comes a time when they just trust the wrong people and get swept away. Kevin had his 15 minutes - now he can find someone else to feed off.

All is not lost for Britney. If she picks a good counselor and gets a different set of friends, there's a good chance she can turn things around. She is only 25. Prove herself that she's worth a mother to her two kids. It's not the end of the world for Britney after all.

latest news affirm that she's really getting loose. in fact, she's stubborn because she cannot simply follow rules set forth by the court like driving again without any license.

I think one of the saddest things is to have problems like thousands of others but not be able to get enough breathing room to get help without being scrutinized. She will prove herself eventually (after she dumps the lousy friends) - but I think media has to give her room to get well. She's so young and under so much pressure. I wish her well

I do not know about this Kevin Federline. It is obvious that you already made up your mind about him as witnessed by your last phrase. Perhaps you believe that women should gain custody of their children no matter their lifestyle and as for him and Shar Jackson, they were not married ---a spark in the night, I guess. It maybe that Shar really does not care. After all, African American women have been raising their children without the help of a man for centuries because back in Africa, some tribes claimed their descent through the maternal line and that custom continued. Just because he gets money from the custody battle, he cannot use that to buy himself a new car or go to Paris or buy a mansion with diamond windows, etc. He has to use the money for the kids. So if he wants to send him to private schools, get nannies, get their teeth fixed, etc. It is his own business and right. I would suppose had Britney straightened up and won custody, you would not complain. I do not believe in passing judgments. All you know about Britney and her ex is what the papers tell, and if the papers are pro Britney they will put her in a good light, but if pro Kevin, they will put him in a good light.

I do not advocate custody for women regardless of their lifestyle - please do not jump to assumptions based on small glimpses into my line of thinking from what little bit I have shared on this discussion. I made up my mind about KFed long before he married Britney. As for Shar, that's right, they weren't married but he left her pregnant with child number two, so you can hardly consider that a spark in the night. Incidentally are you saying men have no responsibility if they get someone pregnant - as long as they aren't married? As for the child support...What? You really think child support will go towards the children only. Are you not aware that Britney will pay an amount equal to whatever the courts deem necessary for her children to remain in a lifestyle to which they are accustomed. That means their dad gets to live like a millionaire as well. Quote: "African American women have been raising their children without the help of a man for centuries" ---- so I guess that makes it OK for Shar Jackson to raise her kids without their dad. As for you "not passing judgement" - you not only have passed judgement on me, based on my low opinion of Kevin Federline but you also passed judgement on all African American women, and on all African women. As for Britney straightening herself out and gaining custody - yes, I wouldn't complain.

I feel so bad for the kids, they suffer the most of all. Britney should at least get supervised visits with the kids for now. If she loves her kids enough then she will make the effort to stick to the orders of the court but who can tell?

The kids didn't look happy in the video they've been playing on the news. They were sitting in the back seat of the car; looked like one of them was crying. I hope they turn out ok

i do not think that either one of them is a very appropriate parent for these adorable little boys. i agree with alot of the other people out there that maybe grandparents should rfaise them until they both pull their heads out of their butts and realize whats more important

I don't know anything about the Federline's but Britney's mom gives tours of her childhood bedroom - and she's the one that was pushing so hard to make her a star. I'm sure they'll be fine. With all this attention on the situation Kevin Federline is probably going to be on his best behavior for a long time

I just can't feel sad for anyone in this whole mess except for the children. Because when all is said and done, the children will be the ones that suffer. As a mother, I can't understand people who can't get it together for the sake of their children...just makes me sick, the whole lot of 'em!!!

I don't know anyone who wouldn't sacrifice everything to make sure their kids are safe and taken care of. Her lack of motherly instincts is frustrating to say the least!

I don't feel sorry for her. She is out of control and taking those kids with her. She is lucky they are still alive. All the partying she is doing and driving around like a maniac. They showed pictures of her driving around with the top down and her kids looking scared. I don't think Kevin was any better of a choice though. Like you said, he has 2 other kids that he doesn't take care of. I feel so bad for all 4 of kevins kids. Hopefully things go better for them in the future.

I saw her driving incidents on the news. She really seems oblivious to everything. I think as far as motherhood is concerned she is clueless or just doesn't care. The kids are going to grow up and see this. It could devastate them.

I do pity her but i do believe wat her husband says , he stated that she used 2 hit her children mercilessly so i do want the kids 2 grow up in their fathers place so that they atleast get sum part of the love that they should rightfully get from their parents. after they grow up they may also become roockstars and fetch good name 2 their mother though she had been cruel to them

There's no excuse to hit the kids. I wonder why she didn't have the nanny around all the time. She has enough money
