How profitable do you think a freelancing photography job is? I'm really strongly thinking of doing this if I can find the right employer that doesn't want me fulltime, but wants me whenever! Also, what do you think about a photography job in general? liike. the pros and cons!

I take a lot of animal photos. Do you know what kind of places will buy animal photos from me?

besides the National Geographic, Non-Profits like Nature Society, and Human Society, propose to take pictures at the Human Society, tell them you will make a donation for pictures taken, and our Human Society, makes an annual Calender of people interested in animal adoption, or tell the Human society that you will put the picture on the web site for people to adopt pets. The Human society here has a Holiday picture taking about 4 times a year, also go to Pet store and propose to promote their store by having Holiday picture taking, this usually conincides with a side walk sale. Oh by the way I have a booklet for sale on operating Dog and Pet Photography Business, if you are interested.

to be a free lance you have to build up clients. I have one school that hires me to take the team and individual photos of sports teams. I also work for the local newspaper to take sports shots but am called to photograph community events. You have to be willing to take photos of things that are not of interest to you or you favoriate things to photograph. Good Luck
