I come in on the IQ tests in the mid 140's. I tink they are pretty accurate but meaningless for the most part.
I know people with much higher IQs that are total morons, they are idiots and don't care to read or learn. I read constantly, about almost everything. I analyze and try to understand. I have a good general knowledge and can do most anything. Am I a genius? No, I am well educated and well rounded.
I don't feel different, since I have been 3, I have read everything I could, I know I know more then a lot of people, a a test changes nothing.

I gotta agree with you on this one. I've been tested a lot too. I consider myself a dumbazz, just a regular guy roaming around kinda pointlessly. But since early school years I have always tested high, usually right about 140. Then the college years and more comprehensive testing put me at 185. Now, much older, wiser, more read and experienced, my online test results vary from 116 to 133. So I have little faith in the accuracy of these tests anymore. Seems the more I know, the dumber I get.

Hi KB, I see someone resurrected this discussion so I thought I would respond.
I love taking these things. LOL It does make me feel slightly good about myself, but I soon forget I took one and I dont put myself on a pedastal because of it. I think the last time I tested I was 123 or something. Thats just slightly above average intelligence, all tests are different. So the scales they give will give you a different score.
Dont get me wrong, I can be a ditz at times. LOL So I guess they really dont mean anything!

IQ measures how fast your brain can process and accumulate data. I believed most of the IQ test I've taken are accurate. My scores ranged from 125 to 130. It makes me feel a bit different about myself. It boost my ego for one and I'm usually aggressively competitive in itellectual fields that I'm good at.

I've taken several times. First time was in primary school and the latest was I suppose last month. The scores ranges from 125-145. I dont know if they are accurate, but normally people would say I am among the smart ones. However according to my knowledge IQ does matter much to one's life as long as he is not much lower than average. Attitude matters.
