the greatest movie ever!

If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should! It was recommended to me by a friend who said it was one of the best he's ever seen and at the time, I thought, "yeah right, looks boring to me", but he was right. From the first couple minutes, I was hooked. It's based on a true story about Burt Munro, the man that broke the land speed record at the salt flats in the 1960's, and the things he went through just to get there. It really is a great movie and has become one of my favorites. There's parts that will have you laughing and parts that will have you on the edge of your seat. Out of a possible 10, I would have to give it a 15!!

I would never have gone to see it but a friend (who has 25 motorbikes in his garage) said not to be put off by the thought that it was all about motorbikes - and he was right. I think this movie would appeal to people who love motorbikes and those who have no interest in motorbikes at all - it's just a great movie with humour, history and a bit of a showcase of an inspiring and entertaining individual.
