Real life ghost stories, anyone?

Last night I was reading the September issue of Reader's Digest. I get to a page where they show the result of a poll that asks "Do You Believe in Ghosts?" Out of 125 responses 76% do not believe in ghosts and 76% responders believe. I can't say I believe and do not believe. All I know is I haven't seen a ghost. I have friends who said they have real encounters with ghosts and my reaction is always clouded with doubt. Maybe it was just an overactive imagination? What makes you say that you believe in ghosts? Or have you seen one yourself? Tell us your experience.

I believe in ghosts...we have one that lives in our house. You will see him from time to time and sometimes things just disappear. We believe it is the ghost of my husband's great uncle and he is harmless.

Yes, I always hear these kind of stories from friends claiming that they have a ghost in their homes. But if I ask them if they've seen these apparitions themselves, they will always reply in the negative. I have never have met someone yet who really have direct encounters with ghosts.

I have felt a ghost presence, have seen one also, and I have been harmed by one also. So ya, I pretty much believed in their existence.
