What do you know about frats? / myLot

I've never been to a frat nor have I ever heard of one near my place of living. Did you ever hear of a frat? Did you ever join one? What kind of secret rituals did you do?

you could stop being an independent and just join one, whats the worst that can happen o know you have fun at a party? sounds like a terrible idea

I was never in a sorority (like a fraternity but for women). I don't like what I've heard about them, the clique-ishness, rapes, etc. I was invited to be in a sorority for women who were able to maintain a high GPA, but I didn't join it. For me, it was enough just to be invited to it. I was honored by that in itself.
