I find myself getting better at this every day. But I wonder how do you plan your day. Are you a stay at home like me? Do you find yourself doing less being at home more?
I want to get more done, be more organized, be more prepared. I need help!

If I do have a lot of things to get done, I will write them down on a tablet and put the top priority ones first then work my way down until they are all finished. I have noticed since I am not working anymore that I tend to procrastinate a little more. I will tell myself oh, I have plenty of time to do that, I will get to it tomorrow. Wrong answer...I just have to keep on myself about that. There are plenty of things to do to keep you busy, because once your done cleaning, it's like you have to start all over again! LOL

I agree with your best response to make a list on a tablet and complete each task by priority. However, I would take this a step further, by identifying what are your goals regarding being an at home Mom? Is it to stay home and take care of the kids only? What about yourself? I think by looking at your overall goals you will be able to focus better and get things done.

I always have a list of what I need to do. And I have certain days of the week that I do things. (i.e. cleaning, laundry etc.) And on Saturdays I clean my car...the problem - it is the job that I like the least.
What works for me is to do the things I like least early in the am. And I wish I did my car this morning because it is afternoon - and now I don't feel like it.
