I totally agree! Roseanne is definitely my favorite and I still watch it whenever I can (original Becky was best)

I think the reason why I like that show so much is because of the realness to it. Sorry I meant to say that in the first one-thanks again.

Goodness! . . Did I ever watch a lot of television shows from back in the day.. Some of my favorite television shows we're from back then.. I honestly believe that they don't make them quite like they used to.. I find a lot of the television shows don't hold as much meaning to me as the ones I used to watch so long ago..
Some of the television shows I used to watch.. Are ones such as family matters, full house, perfect strangers, boy meets world, etc.. I remember watching all of these shows when I was younger.. They used to run this thing called "T.G.I.F." down here & I used to look forward to watching all these shows when Friday nights would roll around. I remember when I was in school how excited I would get knowing that I would be going home to watching some of my favorite television shows.. It also helped that I'd have the weekend off from school so it couldn't get any better than that..
I honestly miss watching "Family Matters" along with "Full House." I used to love how Steve would always go crazy over Laura.. And try to win her love.. But it would never work no matter what he did.. I also remember that time machine he had created to turn himself in to Stefan all the time.. And how he'd turn in to him sometimes to.. I remember one episode where I believe he sang to Laura & she ended up fainting or something because she became so over-whelmed. I also remember how Carl & Steve used to always go at it.. Carl used to always be yelling at Steve for some reason.. It made for some rather hilarious episodes indeed!
I remember one episode where they we're at a dance contest.. And Steve & Carl we're both trying to win the contest & wouldn't give up until one or thee other won.. It was like a competition for them.. And there girlfriend/wife ended up leaving them & the lights we're out.. And because they wanted to see who could win.. They we're there till late in the morning & they could barely dance because there backs we're aching so bad.. I never laughed so much until I seen that episode! haha.. It was rather hilarious..
I also remember watching "Full House." I used to just love that show.. I used to think Jessie was so hot.. Even though my mind about him as an actor has changed.. I still loved that television show.. And how it dealt with real problems that families had to face along the way.. I love how they stood by each other as well.. I haven't seen that show in years & I honestly miss watching that show as well.. I wish they still showed both "Family Matters" along with "Full House" sometimes as I truly miss do miss watching both!
I also remember watching "Saved By The Bell." I usually will watch it each morning if I am up with my other half when he heads off to work.. I just love watching that show even though it's so corny as I look back at it now.. But I still enjoy watching it as it helps to take me back to my childhood.. And how much I had enjoyed shows such as these..
I also remember watching shows such as "Golden Girls" all of the time with my Grandma. I loved watching this show with her & she is one of the main reasons as to why I had started to become so addicted to this show.. I still love this show to this very day to.. I remember sitting down with my Grandma with a cup of tea & watching it with her in the evenings.. Can you believe when they showed this show recently I still find myself doing this as well? haha..
I also just absolutely love "Roseanne." It's one of my absolute favorite television shows. They still show it where I live late in the evenings & I still watch it. I love this show because Roseanne reminds me so much of myself. She's so outspoken & she doesn't beat around the bush.. Plus her sarcastic humor honestly makes the show! She is so absolutely hilarious & I love how this show has some serious moments, along with some hilarious moments all at the same time. I find this is one of the few shows out there that had showed what a real family acts like.. This show doesn't show a cookie cut family.. They show a real family with real issues, with real obstacles they have to face each day.. I think this is as to why this show was as popular as it was quite honestly.
I also remember watching old shows like "MacGyver" or "Murder She Wrote" with my Grandma as well.. They we're just some shows that I began to get hooked on because of my Grandma as well.. I miss watching these shows with her.. They we're so amazing & I still love them as well!
In conclusion.. I remember watching all of these television shows that I had listed when I was younger.. And still to this very day still do enjoy watching them.. I wish they made television shows like this like they used to these days.. The shows they put out just aren't quite the same for me anymore. I want to get my hand on some of these shows sometime in the near distant future.. As I miss each & everyone of them in all honesty! . .
Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I definitely remember TGIF too. I was a young girl (about 9-13) when I was really into it. My sister and I used to order a pizza about 6:45 and it would be there usually by the first shows first commercial break. Didn't Dinosaurs premier on TGIF? And there were a couple others that I can place the names and faces but not the show's names. We never had cable as kids, so Friday night was definitely something to look forward to. Ah thank you for sharing so many memories!
