We often hear about people who are over weight and how life is hard for them. Well what about people who are super skinny-not fighting anorexia or bulimia just naturally skinny? I've finally gotten to a point in my life where I am not made fun of for being so skinny. Am I the only one? It's rude to make someone feel bad for the way they are. I'm sorry for being skinny. I can't help it if my mom is six feet tall and maybe 150lbs.

I'm not trying to be mean, but are you kidding? You are complaining because you are naturally skinny (an affliction many would love to have)? You don't have anorexia or bulimia? You are skinny? You are healthy? I would stop complainig and be darn happy about your situation!! JMO.

Im not saying I dont like being skinny but when people are obviously jealous its kind of degrading to have people say you are disgusting or anorexic to your face when you know you cant help it. I eat like 2500 calories a day. Its just an annoyance I have. And its annoying that people dont take it seriously and just say what you said-how can you be grateful when people throw it in your face?

I don't think she's complaining about being skinny. She's expressing her frustration that people make fun of her and make her feel bad because she's skinny.

I understand what you're saying. I don't get teased too much, but I get the odd comment now and then. After a while being called "skin and bones" and "anorexic" really gets on your nerves. Luckily not that many people make comments to me (atleast not to my face).
I guess some think it's okay to joke to people about being skinny. Since being skinny is "desireable" by our society's standards of beauty, they probably don't anticipate that it can actually be taken negatively by the comment recipient.
