So I recently was in a conversation with a family member of mine who says that homosexuality is not something that happens in nature and that you don't see animals doing this. So I looked on the internet and found a huge list of animals that have been seen displaying homosexual tendencies. I am a strong believer that homosexuality is a natural thing and should be seen as that. I am also for gay marriage and think the excuse, well then roommates would get married for tax purposes is lame because a male and female roommate could do the same. I know this is a controversial topic and would love some debate from each side.

I think that it's a natural phenomenon since some sea mammals were seen to have these tendencies. But for human beings, both nature and nurture play great roles in homosexuality. Some people i know claim that they were aware of these tendencies as early as 4 years old. While some engaged in homosexual relationships only after failed relationships with men.

I have a thoery on all of this too. I started a discussion on it but no one responded. I don't know if it was too contraversial or what. Here is the link to my discussion My Thoery on Homosexuality. It is my theory on why homosexuality exists and is so more prevelant now. Go check it out: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1279252.aspx
