Mystery Shopping

I am applying for a Mystery Shopping job at Yahoo HotJobs. I get to work from home; go out to movies and restruant and go shopping. I right reviews for any company wanting to hire a Mystery Shopper. I get to choose the jobs I do, and the ones I don't. I get refunded for any money I spend, and I get a paycheck from them. Does anyone else here do Mystery Shopping. Or know someone else who does? What's the experience for you/them been like? Is Mystery Shopping a scam, or my dream come true?

Be careful;, some of them are scams...I found one that isn't. They send me about three invites a month, to go shopping at local stores. They only pay 12.00 each trip though, Plus, you are required to purchase something from the store, and they don't reimburse you, (but you can always return it). Plus, you have to spend a certain amount of time in the store, and ask a sales associate for help. It's a lot of work for 12.00!

I was a mystery shopper, but it was seven years ago. They hardly ever called me, so I quit. But I bet things are different now.

Well I am still keeping my current job. I just hope I get more work from this then you did X.X I could use the extra money right now! :) Any other ideas at things I could do at home for some extra money on my days off? Thanks for the response! =)

I like that idea, but I don't think it would work out for me because I have to be really picky about my scedule. Because I work at night til the morning, I sleep during the day and I often help my family with taking care of my nieces and picking my sister up from school. So I think something I can do from home would be a lot easier.

I have always wondered about mystery shopping and thought it might be something that I would enjoy, but there are so many companies that ask for money up front to get started. I saw the post in here about a free website and I will have to check that one out. Good luck, I hope it works out for you!
