Is anyone else afraid to post pictures they take online?

I have posted thousands of photographs which I have taken in my digital camera and some of them are nature-based objects. But I am not afraid that one day some will take it away. So what. I have posted it and I possess the original. I may not be interested in going in for litigation, but can teach someone a good lesson, if they go for litigation claiming the photographs as theirs. In fact I have even numbered them, titled it and recorded the date of capture.

I suggest that you reduce the resolution of your pictures before submitting them online. For example, if your camera has 5 megapixels you can reduce the resolution to 0.5-1 megapixels. The picture would still look great on the computer screen. Almost every image processing software has this option.
