What do you think about tele-medicine?

Is it a new frontier of science and health or you are more confident in traditional methods of assessment and care of diseases?
As far as our health and care is concerned, in general, people seems to be very happy to find out that there are new ways to receive a medical treatment at home or in different places far from hospitals or other medical facilities and where there is difficulty to reach a doctor who is specialized for the treatment of their disease...
So, would you let yourself be cared of by a robo-nurse or enter a sort of surgical-laser-printer where to be operated by a surgeon who is hundreds of miles far from you, or you would think it is better to face the risks of a transport toward a traditionally equipped hospital?
Quite a puzzling problem, isn't it?
bye
