When Did You Get Your Ears Pierced?

I had it done 6 times, the first time when I was 6 months old and the last time I was 14. I have very sensative skin so even after years, if I went more than one day w/out an earing in then the holes would close. Finally after 6 times, they stay open now. I've had it done both commercial and traditional methods. The last time I had it done, the girl used a permanent marker and now I have a black "birthmark" on each ear, lol. I had a second hole done on each ear, 3 times so far and it has closed.

I got it pierced when i was two..since i dont remember what happened at that time which my mom narrated it to me later..It was done traditionally with prayers and still i have that small stone shapped star studded stead with me.. Just 5 years back i got my ears pierced for wearing an additonal small ring and felt the pain of piercing eventhough i get it done through a doctor and took some pills and injection for pain relief..

I had my ears pierces as a newborn, so I don't remember any of it... I'm glad my mom did it, by the way, as it took me 25 years to get the courage to get a new piercing!!! (this one on my belly, but it's quite the same)

My ears got pierced when I was around 10 years old. My mom didn't have it done while I was a baby unlike most mothers now who have their babies pierced days after they give birth. At first my ears become swollen, I think because I got allergic to the fancy earrings that was used. But then later on my ears became immune to any type of earring material I like.

My Mother offered to have my ears pierced when I was 16. I told her, "No thank you, God gave me enough wholes in my head." So I could have gotten them pierced for my 16th birthday. Or was it my 14th? One of those two. Ginger, interesting. I would have though oil of cloves. Oh well. I like earcuffs. They are different from pierced or clips. One ear doesn't mind the earcuffs and the other one does. Not sure why, but each of my ears is built differently. That's probably why. One is built so the clip is comfortable and the other one is not. Take care

I got my ears pierced when I was already 12 years old. It was my sister who pierced it. . . I just don't remember I felt that time because I was very eager and excited to wear a dangling gold earings. She just used a needle sterilized in hot water. That's it!

when i was 15 my parents pierced my ears.actually its my family tradition that every male in family have to do piercing at that age.and same with me.the guy also rubbed some ginger oil on my ears.but i dint feel any burning sensation nor i felt any pain.

i got my ears first pierced when I was 7 yrs old. The next holes was in high school I was like 16 or 17. I got the last set of holes plus one in the ear lobe when I was like 22. Thing is I am lazy and truly only put the earring in the lobe cause I gotta. One day maybe I will get back to filling all 7 holes but till then yeah... haha!! :p

My parents got my ears pierced when i was 1 yr old..Its a tradition out here to get it done at childhood itself.

I don't know exactly when it was. But I guess it was long time ago, few days after born. In my home country it is normal to give small earing to baby girl. But I think in some country, they do not do like that.

well, my case is kinda different. I just got my ear pierced this year, specifically on July and I am 23 yrs old now. Well, there are two main reasons why I had it this late already. First, it was against our religion before which my mother and I were active with until I was in high school. Second, I am a "needle hater". I mean, I had the tendency to collapse even when I am given vaccination shoots. So, I am really afraid to have my ear pierced even when I had a chance in college. Well, I got married on June this year and my husband tried to convince me that it won't hurt me. After so many assurances from my husband, we then decided to get one. Twas really funny because I had 2 girls infront of me watching while the lady did it, my husband was holding my hand. I did my best that I won't show any facial expression that it hurts because the Mom of the girls told me that if the girls will see me get hurt, they won't let theirs done. The Mom said her girls are also afraid of needles and that was their fifth attempt to have their ear pierced. After I was done, they got theirs too.

My ears were pierced when I was a baby, so I don't remember much about it. Mom said that I kept on moving around, so that on my right earlobe, the hole is slightly off the middle due to my movements he he he he...

I was 11. My sister took me to get them pierced for an Easter present. She is 8 years older than me and was 19 at the time. I don't wear earrings that much anymore. My mom and dad wasn't too happy about it because they thought I was too young but she took me anyway. They got over it eventually, I mean it was only a couple of holes. :)

I have never got my ears pierced because I am so scared of the pain. I can't stand it. I seldom will wear necklace, ring etc. I am not so interested in such kind of stuff. So I don't have a plan for it.

when i was child,i had got it pierced thrice.my mum first got it pierced when i was 3.i just can remember a bit.the man put gold rings.after 2 days i removed it my ear had swellings.my sister had also pierced that time.her was okay.so later on she used to wear rings n iused to feel jealous.so my mum again got me pierced bt this time again my ears has swelling.so my father told my mum nt to do it in future.bt when i was 8 then i finally got one n its okay till now.i got my upper one pierced when i was 16.
