I work in agriculture, so I am always in the field, so I am exposed to sunlight somedays all day. I use suncreen... but a lot of people who work in the field do not use sunscreen, they use long sleeves and hut...
What do you think? what would you use?

well as for me, i work freelance and have a lot of errands. i, too, am exposed to the sun sometimes, but the heat is just too much for me. i would rather wear sleeveless shirts and shorts if these aren't too informal. so i just wear jeans, a casual shirt, and a pair of light sandals just so i could stand the heat. and i bring water with me, too.

I prefer to wear full sleeves if going for the work or for any occassion while in home i mostly wear t-shirts, or half-sleeves shirts.

I can't figure out if I got the correct impression about your work. Are you a farmer or not exactly a farmer?
My relatives who are in the province are farmers. When they go to the fields to plant rice, corn, sugarcane, and other sorts of vegetables, they do wear long sleeves. Sunscreens are okay but it's not a common practice in here for farmers to use sunscreen. Also, it's very costly for them to use sunscreen for extended periods of time.
I guess wearing long sleeves is better for added protection of our skin.

At my job, I can't really, because I work in a hot hot kitchen and it's bad enough we have to wear aprons and hats. We all wear short sleeved shirts, but we still all get hot and sweaty and it's not attractive.
