Do you like to cook your breakfast or is cooking too complicated that early in the morning?
If you like to cook your breakfast what kind of foods do you cook?
I think cooking is too complicated that early in the morning, so I bake muffins on the weekend and heat them in microwave in the mornings on my way to work.

There isn't too much time during the work week for me to do much more than grab a quick bite to eat on my way out; but this is why we always keep grab and go things available for breakfast. Granola bars, pop tarts, and bagels usually rule breakfast during the week.
On the weekends, we definitely take the time to make nice breakfasts and sit down and eat. We'll have anything from eggs and bacon to omelets, scrambles, and pancakes.

During the week we'll just eat cereal or throw some bagels or bread in the toaster. On the weekends we are all home together so we'll usually make breakfast on sunday. We change it up. One weekend will be eggs and bacon, one weekend pancakes. Its kind of a family tradition to have sunday morning breakfast together.

i love to cook.. so i make it a point that i wake up early in the morning to cook breakfast. here in the philippines we are rice eaters so we eat rice for breakfast with eggs, hotdogs, omelettes, or canned foods like tuna, corned beef.

I really love cooking. However, I don't really have much time for cooking breakfast. My schedule is so hectic at the start of day. I usually prepare continental breakfast. But with the presence of new technology, food preparation has been made so easy nowadays. Each time I ran out of time, I do prepare these easy-to-cook products. So easy and convenient and really feeds my hunger.

I like the muffin idea. I also like cereal with milk or toast in the mornings. I usually don't feel that I have time to cook in the morning.

Morning is such a beautiful moment. I don’t want to waste my cherish morning in kitchen to prepare too complicated dishes for breakfast. If to take breakfast at home I normally prepare toast, fried eggs and coffee.
Most of the times, my hubby and I prefer to have our breakfast at a nearby restaurant. I like the hot coffee and noodle served there whereas my hubby prefers curry noodle and hot tea.

Hello there. Usually mornings are rush hours for me. I do not have time to sit down and have breakfast at home. So, I usually skip my breakfast. However, if I do ever get to sit down and have breakfast at home, I like to have cereals. I do not like to cook my breakfast. I find it too troublesome. Another kind of breakfast i like is traditional chinese breakfast (dough fritters with soya beancurd drink). It tastes yummy! =D

I actually prefer to cook in the morning, and often even pre-prepare dinner shortly after I wake up so that I have the day to myself.
As far as cooking breakfast, it depends on my mood.
Sometimes I really feel like scrambled eggs on toast, or a fried egg, tomato and cheese on toast or something.
Other mornings I am happy to have a cup of tea and some cereal.
I don't find cooking any more complicated in the morning than any other time.

I usually cook Breakfast 5 days a week. It consists of eggs, sausage (roll or smoked), whole wheat toast, and a fruit on the side...Today I was a little lazy and just made sausage with can biscuits..I generally don't cook on Sunday unless its Christmas or Easter..Then I pull out all the stops with casseroles, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, every breakfast food you can think of..I set it up like an "all you can eat buffet" and the 3 of us can eat on it for a few days while I take a break!

I don't usually even eat breakfast, much less think about cooking it. If I'm going to cook breakfast foods, I will either do it for brunch or for dinner. My stomach can't handle eating food before ten o'clock in the morning, because of sinus issues, so I don't generally cook before that, unless I get really energetic and decide to cook breakfast for my girls before they go to school.

I don't really cook at all over here in China - it works out to be cheaper to eat out than it does to cook, and it's less hassle to grab something on the way to my morning classes at the kindergarten.
I've got a favorite dish, chungfen, which is an steamed egg noodle with some chives in it - gives me enough energy to deal with the kindie kids!

Same here. Monday to Friday only bread with butter/jam, milk, poached eggs, cereals and such. But on weekends I make elaborate breakfasts which are to be shared with the family. Some of the leftovers also serve their purpose as office lunch on Monday too!

That sounds like a good idea. The muffin thing. I don't eat lunch so breakfast is pretty important to me on work days. I mean, if I'm home I totally have lunch or whatever. Anyways so I definitely cook because I can't not eat a decent or at least semi decent meal for breakfast. I usually cook a bagel, egg and cheese sandwich (or toast if I don't have bagels). It's yummy. Then I'll usually have a bowl of cereal or pop-tarts. It's nothing all sorts of big or anything...unless I'm home on the weekend. But it's more than something on the run.

I prefer to eat cereal in the morning as it provides calcium, and gives me energy which I need.
