In India, people do consider marriage as an institution and it is a rare phenomenon people go out of the family. The bondage is so close, divorce is a rare phenomenon. I have been living with my wife for 15 years and I am confident we both live together till we die. Any minor adjustments, problems are solved among ourselves.

That is so great!!! I feel the same even though we live worlds apart... I am in Ireland, and if my husband and I ever have a disagreement (which is very rare) we solve it ourselves too. I think what goes on in a marriage should stay in a marriage. Nice to hear from you!!

Disagreements should be there, misunderstandings should be there, quarrels should take place within the bed room, not even the neighbours or children should hear, anger and temper should be there but everything should be in limit and should lead to understand each other better. I do not like to live with a lamp post or a tree. Occasionally I love to see my wife in anger mood and it is nice to entice her to give up anger and make love!!

I totally agree. We make a point that if we argue its never done in front of the kids. And yes the best part of arguing is the making up part!!!! :-)

Thanks for your reply... my mother told me a long time ago that having arguements in a marriage was the sign of a healthy relationship!!!!! Me and my husband have disagreements too from time to time but they blow over as soon as they start.....
