LEADERS are BORN or MADE?????

well its a long and unending discussion..some say leaders and born and some say they are made..according to me the leaders are made and not born..the leaders have the quality of motivating and encouraging to indulge in certain activity..leaders have a vision and conviction power..it all depends upon the situation,the interest and the circumstances..A leader exists in each one of us..We lead our family when we become parents..Noone teaches us how to lead our children..it comes from within..someone mig.ht be a good leader in sports but not in studies..like one might like to lead when anything happens in sports but refrain oneself from participating in quizes and presentations and all..i would like to know what you all have to say about it..????

I say leaders are made not born because even a follower can become a leader. What nehagarg said.

Both. I think there are people born with innate qualities which help them lead. I don't have them. I'm either a follower or someone who marches to their own drummer, depending on the situation, but I can't lead. But, even with those qualities, I think good leaders learn from others. I disagree that no one teaches you how to lead children when you become parents. You learn from your experience with your own parents, from other people, and from your own instinct and practices.
