If it were a website where you got a set amount of money per referral, perhaps. However, on mylot where participation is a factor, I wouldn't pay for referrals unless I was VERY sure they would be active. I have 50 referrals here and 48 of them never even made a single post. So had I paid for those referrals, it would have been a complete waste of money because I haven't made a penny off them. They just signed up and then went away.

I do. In fact I am this month lol. For the program I use (that I can't write of course but it begins with "c" lol) I pay $1 directly to paypal when the complete any offer, even if it's the daily survey and become "active". Then I pay $2, again instantly directly to Paypal when they reach $10 payout as soon as I get notification - before I even get paid. So I pay out on good faith. As soon as I found the program I'm on, I kinda let the others slide because it was easier and so I'm able set some money aside every month to run my referral program. The others don't really do that.
Referral exchange programs are kind of a hassle. And well, cash talks. If you want tips or anything or some resources, you can always pm me... I'm a firm believer in paying it forward.

to be honest, referrals can be really hard to get. People have all different types of techniques. I honestly believe its always best to get into new sites before "everyone and their mom" is a member there. That way you have a better chance and being the one with the most referrals. A new site that I just signed up at is www.cashsquadron.com. Check it out! I already have 7 referrals!
