Think of the things that you say as a Mom all of the time Eat your vegetables, go to bed, do your homework! My favorite with my son was 'Hockey is a privilege not a right' What do you remember saying all of the time?See how this Mom handles it....put the volume up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ati3k32-NXI&mode=related&search=

My mom would say all kinds of things, like eat all of your food, there are starving kids in africa, no means no, I said so and that's all there is to it, your room is a privilege and not a right, turn that stereo down or else! That is very humorous what that mom says! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Oh wow. There are so many things that my mother used to say that I SWORE I would never say. Guess what, I find myself saying some of the same things as my mother said to me! Some that I have said that my mom said are: "You are judged by who you are seen with," "Call me when you get there," "Honesty is the best policy" and others. One that I have NOT used, that my mother used to always ask was, "Do you have on clean underwear?"

That was cute. My son isn't even 2 years old yet, so I don't really have a lot of things that I say over and over again yet. Probably the most common thing I say is "Would you like it if Woodie stuck her paw in your nose? Then keep your fingers out of hers!" or something similar because he is always picking at the dogs. Another one is "Come back here!" and "We need to stand away from the TV, instead of so close."

It's all coming back to me!!!hehehe. My all time favorite was "Do you need me to give you a reason to cry.?" The funny thing is I now hear my daughter using these words on my two grandchildren. It seems to always come back to bite you. Take Care my friend!!!

My mom used to say "Because I said so!" and then I found myself saying it to my son, too. Julie http://www.AskMeanMoom.com
