Well, truth be, not a thing. For me, the greatest/strongest symbol of any nation is its people and that is the symbol that needs be protected and cherished, not an inanimate object that does not breath, grow, develop with the nation it represents. For the record, I am an American. I have seen on the news many incidents when flag burners where brutalized for their actions and the brutalizers then cheered..Its a shame that so many numnutz would value human life and human dignity secondary to the sovereignty of an inanimate object...Also, tho American, I do not pledge allegiance to the flag. Am I unAmerican? No, but I am Christian and will not pledge any bit of my being to an inanimate 'idol'. I suspect that folks won't agree (like I haven't been there before) but I refuse to bow down to an inanimate object or to raise it above human life..
Enjoy!

Well,I'm not sure what I would do if I did see something like this? It would pi** me off but I'm not sure what I or anyone could do about it? Enless there is something we can do like calling the cops or something to that nature...I don't know to much about the law about burning flags...Bu tI might try to say something to that person on how wrong it is and how it made me feel...I feel if you have to do something like that or you hate that country well leave go somewhere else we don't need you in our country!

I look at him/her, and walk away. Let him/her burn and have his/her fun. I really can't understand what the big deal is.
