Would you prefer a bungalow or a 2-storey house? Why?

I promised myself that I would not have a 2-storey house for my own family. I used to live in a 3-storey house with my parents and siblings. Many times, we would not see each other. When I get home I'd go straight to my room and my parents sometimes won't know I'm home until I'm about to leave again. Same with other members of the family. We lost a lot of bonding/quality time. Now, I live in a bungalow where each rooms are in the same floor, very easy to reach family members :)
