Do you choose your friends?

To some extent yes, I choose my friend. I just don't trust anyone right away. It takes more time of keen observation and self-reflection if both of us are worthy of our friendship. Well, in the process I will treat him/her nicely but never tell him/her yet my whereabouts and stuffs pertaining to anything or anyone around me. There should be a certain gap or wall that I'll build until I can feel that I know him better already. Well, I don't say that after this I am sure that I get a perfect friend but at least if he turned out the different way, I can console myself not to feel stupid because I tried to do my best to at least know him more. In todays, world it is very difficult to distinguish who are true and who are "fake".

I actually dont choose my friends. They just happen. Like for instance I started work at a new place and just made friends with all my colleagues there. I didnt choose who to make friends with out of them. These things just happen..your in a group of people and just get along with a few of them and they become your friends. Its not at all a conscious effort for me.

Yes, I think I choose my friends. But I think it only count for best friends. If it is only to chat or talk about few things basically I always open to every one. Like here in mylot, we also chat with each other and become friends. But not as a best friend

well we meet so many people every day and obviously all cannot become our friends.i am personally very choosy in choosing my friend.my friends are just me.i mean to say they will have many things common to me.my friends are very precious to me and very close to my heart.i make friends only with those who give a postive vibes to my heart.in choosing friend i just listen to my heart.
