ae u really irritated by unwanted visitors and friend requestson orkut??

i'm on orkut as i have many friends and relatives there and i make friend them only ,but if u hv to search some friend there can be really thousands of people of same name so u select some probables then look at their profile and photoand then u come to know this is the usual course atleast this is the way i do,now whats happening because of one this search daily i'm getting friend requests nd i really don't want them ,i refuse polietly ,but i'm done with it now and irritated to some extent ,what do i do now?? tell me

Visitors? Not really. It's good that people visit my page and get to know me. I mean if I wanted to have no unwanted visitors, I'd either not join orkut, or perhaps make my profile private.
However friend requests are another thing. I generally don't like it when someone wants to be friends with me when I don't know that person. I guess I feel that social networking should be to get to know friends, not to get to know strangers
What is really annoying in orkut is that: strangers can post on your notes/message/wall (whatever they call it). And that people spam you (they can send a message to a whole group).
