Will you Pray before taking food,going to bed.........?????????

In Islam they have to praise the LORD for each and every thing.like before taking food,before drinking water,before going to bed and as soon as you get up from bed...........like this for every thing.......if your are in journey you have to pray before startign,while doing and while ended........
ofcourse nothing wrong in it it's good.....
BUt i just want to know that is it same with you religion adn you will follow it??????????

Prayer in every religion is meant to make a communion with the God in this busy world where every one is running for their personal gains, forgetting the almighty, who has created the whole world for them. According to me Everyone should at some time or other in the day remember the almighty and thank him for everything, this is the reason I thank god while sleeping and that is the part of the day when I remain alone and thank GOD for the whole day that he has given me..

Well, I would like to add that it, of course, depends upon the believe one have in the fact that blessings all around are bestowed upon us by someone else.
See, whilst in daily life, if somebody gives a favor to you, being much obliged you may say "thanks". So, if I believe in GOD Almighty, I would really say Thanks to HIM and I do so. I think there is nothing wrong! Thanks for your nice topic Shak!

yes we pray before eating, before sleeping. we also pray for others. praying is talking to God and while talking to him we pour our all. we tahnk him and cry to him and be happy with him. like a son to a father

Hi!Well, GOD is the name given to the ETERNAL POWER,without which even a leaf cannot turn itself.So, is it not our duty to thank our CREATOR for all that HE has bestowed on us & express our gratitude.All religions are one, & our ultimate GOAL is to become one with HIM.So, to have on the intimate relationship,I talk to HIM as often as possible,HE is always with me wherever I go, & in whatever I do.In fact it is only HE that is doing everything, otherwise, who am 'I'?

Prayer - communciating wth my God is somethign I have to d every day. You see if I dont do it daily when I am at work and someone ticks me off I probably would do and say things unchristlike. Prayer reminds me that He God is there with me through every thick and thin

We give thanks, praises to God and we ask petition and mercy too. Prayer makes the spirit healthy. Never count how many times you have prayed for the day, rather ask yourself was this day a day of prayer? That is, sharing the love of God to the people around us.
