how to best deal with prank callers/SMS texters?

I received a very rude SMS text message from someone I don't know. The person kept texting me until 1 in the morning and consequently, I had trouble sleeping because of the messages the person sent. How can I possibly get back at that person? Do you have suggestion?

Switch off your phone at night or ask your operator to block them, which means they will still pay for the message but you won't receive it, or use the block function on your phone :O)

I have yet to try to ask the operator to block the number but as for turning off my mobile at night, I can't since I live alone and in case my folks run into some sort of emergency/trouble, I will be able to receive the call. Thank you for your suggestion.

Ok. Go online. Spread the number online by that you're getting back on her or him. ;)
