Very right and very well explained by my singaporean friend ^_^
Most sIngaporeans are well versed in two languages, and especially the two main ones, chinese and english ^_^ So if u ever decide to come to singapore, u will as if u are at home because we speak the same language, except for that, our chinese is not as 'biao zhun' like yours ^_^

Lol, sad to say this Kun.. but you are right! We are quite sub-standard where languages are concerned ain't we? Hehe, not perfect in English and yet not perfect in our pronouciation of Chinese as well

I can speak Chinese as I am a Singaporean Chinese and of course we are bilingual in the sense that we have to study English (1st language) and our own Mother TOngue (depending on our race) as our 2nd language from young (about 2 years old when we enter school).
Lol, and another thing is that the chinese in Singapore came from China long long time ago during our great-grandmother's time. They came over to Nanyang to make a living and many did not go back to China especially during the WW2 when a lot of families were destroyed. So, yes Singaporeans know Chinese as long as they are Chinese, but not many of us know it well as we hated to learn Chinese and most of time, we fail our Chinese. Lol.

Me.
Indeed, there are very few Singaporeans here. Most are from everywhere else.
Ah Gong, whose discussions I have seen you reply to, is one. I think Ah Gong has a bunch of Singaporean friends here too.
There are some other nice ones around like squaretile, whyaskq, poolgal aka shui tong(sp?) and I think there are a few others but their names elude me for the moment because they are not too active in posting recently.

Usually they won't want to join since myLot is too time consuming for too little money. If it is just chatting, they really join where the peer pressure is like facebook or wherever.

I am a Singaporean too. ..
Nice to know you here kun. By the way, I checked your profile and is the Data Entry for Free for real...? Have you had any success with it and how much are you earning from it. It sounds a bit too good to be true, but I would love to hear your explanations.
Thanks. Requested your friendship there.

Haha, it is not to say that this discussion and responses is pathethic. It is just that it's so sad that there are so little Singaporeans around on Mylot. Strange too, considering the fact that Singaporeans are so active in the forums like Sgforums (Where you are not paid) and on MSN.
I would sure like to see more of my country men on Mylot too, and make more new friends from my own country!
