Home Study Program or the regular schooling?

I have heard a lot of parents, particularly moms who are really complaining about the activities that are being introduced by schools. They would say like there are too much homework that are being given to their kids, and it's like the house is a total extension of the school, so why just not study at home because it's almost the same thing...So they thinking if it would be better to enroll their kids to a home study program instead... What do you think?
