I want to buy computer, but I have problem, should I choose Intel Conroe E4300, or using AMD Athlon X2 5000+. I use it mostly for gaming. And what about VGA, is ATI HD2600 series is enough? Anyone have suggestions ?

Yeah i would say you go for Intel, AMD is not bad also. I have used both, and i have found that since intel got more cache memory so they have a bit upper hand.
About Video card, HD2600 is not that good for gaming, i say go for 8800GTS instead its as good as ATI's top card 2900XT.

I agree with you, my Radeon 9550 is not good for gaming. unfortunately geforce is pretty expensive. Maybe I should buy old Geforce, like 7600, rather that buying 8300.

I agree. AMD is a very good platform and for the graphics card, nVidias have more features than the ATIs of the same level (and they have better support too).
Don't forget that a good motherboard is also recommended if you will use the PC to play games. ASUS and Abit are good choices.

It is always tough to decide between the 2. They have competed with each other in a great way bringing out very useful products at the same time.
But i am comfortable with AMD. I am using AMD x2 and i find it extremely great both in performance of tasks and graphics.
About vga, ATI is brilliant. Its expensive but can just be great in graphics. Dont even think, just buy it.
