The Dresden Files on the SciFi Channel in January 2007

Has anyone out there read the Dresden File series of books by Jim Butcher? If so, what do you think of the upcoming SciFi Channel's series based on the books? While I think the actors cast are good, they don't match what I pictured from reading the characters in the books. The actors aren't what I pictured, either...especially Murphy. But then, very rarely do the characters on paper translate over to film or tv the way I pictured them. I think the actor playing Harry captures his spirit well, if not his looks. And Bob? Why make him a person? He's a talking skull!

Well I haven't read the books but thought about looking into them after watching the first two episodes in the series. So far I've really enjoyed the show and hope it continues to be as good.
