How many of you would have preferred someone other then Ashton?

It's hard to take Ashton seriously, but, although it pains me to say this, I actually think he's a pretty decent actor. I thought he was excellent in the Butterfly Effect once I got used to him playing such a role. It DID take a little getting used to and my initial impression was just like yours, but now when I watch it I wouldn't want anyone in his place.

I would have liked a different actor as well. I don't think Ashton played the part well. There could have been plenty of other actors who would have done a better job at it.

Honestly I think that Ashton did a kick a$$ job in this movie playing the main character! Who would you have rather seen play his character? PurpleTeddyBear!

I think he fits in the role. He doesn't actually look dumb in this movie if that's how you see him, he's actually ok in this movie. ^_^

Hummm, I think Ashton Kutcher did the job really well...but I must say at first when I saw the mvie the first time and saw that Ashton was one of the characters, I thought to myself, this movie will suck (Since When I see Ashton I remenber 70's show, wish is not bat, but...) but Ashton really worked in the paper and made it working...It's also one of my favoutite movies, the story is really great! B.E. 2 is not so goog, not even closer...
