You may be familiar with the phenomenon known as "Spontaneous Combustion" which is typified by the person burning at extremely high temperatures while item surrounding the victim are untouched (except by soot). In some cases, it has been reported that a foot or other body part was unburned while only ash remained of the rest of the victim's body. Two years ago I was following a series of news stories out of Sicily about a case of "Spontaneous Combustion" that was occuring in a house, to different renters. Have YOU had any first-hand knowledge of such a thing? Not a story from someone who knew someone... please.

I've no first hand knowledge of phenomenon, but I too have looked into it and read about it. I've always considered it such an interesting mystery! They say it happens to those who are angered or saddened to the point that they lose all will to live and something inside them just snaps. Most of the cases I've read about revolve around deeply angered people or elderly people that were alone and depressed most of their time. I'm interested to see if anyone posts a first hand occurence. :O)
